Krystal/Cumberland Valley High School

It was touch and go whether I was going to make it to Krystal’s full senior session last night. From construction to detours to accidents, a 45 minute drive turned into a 2 hour tour! So with fading light, we ROCKED it out! I couldn’t have done it without the help of Krystal or her wonderful MOM:)  Krystal told me when we scheduled this session that she wanted flowers, so it was my goal to find her flowers. We all fell in love with the sunflower field!! Here are a few of my faves.

ps. Krystal told me that I have to photograph her wedding when she gets married because she’s so comfortable with me. That’s how I know I’ve done my job:)

Bethany + Mike / Lancaster Wedding Photographer

We had the pleasure of photographing Bethany & Mike’s wedding this past Saturday at the beautiful rustic setting of the Rockford Plantation in Lancaster County. Kristi spent some time with Mike and his brother at their home and I got to roam around the grounds of Rockford and watch the deer graze on the fallen apples and tall grasses. It was so peaceful that I almost forgot I was there to work:) The sun peeked out for the actual ceremony and washed Bethany in a halo of golden light as she walked down the rose petal strewn aisle. Mike & Bethany’s daughter watched patiently as her parents said their vows and then she ran around non-stop with a walnut or two in her hand. My job of creative portraits came easy, as I was surrounded by gorgeous backdrops. Afterwards, it was onto the barn for the reception. Guests were greeted with a Bird cage to place cards and a tree that held vintage family photos! The tables were decorated with large vases filled with limes, lemons and tall vines provided by Petals and Beans. Although there wasn’t much dancing space, every inch of it was ROCKIN’ all night long! Bethany & Mike have a lot of fun relatives. Here are a bunch of my favorites as as a sneak peek!

Bethany & her sister arriving…see what I told you about that light!

Isn’t it just gorgeous.

Baby N / Carlisle Newborn Photographer

Yesterday was Baby N’s first professional photo shoot and I must say, he wasn’t too impressed. Mom, Dad and I quickly found out that he doesn’t like the basement. I mean REALLY REALLY doesn’t like the basement. That’s where I TRIED to do the photo shoot. So we went where he was more safe and comfortable, upstairs and near/in his rocking chair and by the window. Much BETTER!!! Baby N had a whole slew of silly faces for me and I lost count on how many times he sneezed. Here are a few fave’s. Welcome to the world big guy:)

I am in LOVE with this one:)

Look at that little nose and ear! Precious!

Baby A /York County Baby Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing little Miss A and her big Brother and parents. I had photographed her mom Lindsey a couple of months ago and her brother and his cousins. I truly believe that the cuter the kids, the more challenging they make it, cause these two gave me a run for the money! But oh was it worth it….look at that adorable little face, she is just as gorgeous as her big brother. At the end of the shoot both kids were fast asleep and I think the adults weren’t too far behind, at least I know I wasn’t:) Here’s a few images…

Andrea+Andrew /Harrisburg Wedding Photographer

It was a gorgeous August day for the wedding of Andrea and Andrew. Kristi headed off to the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey Hotel to meet up with Andrew and the guys, while I joined Andrea and the girls at her home. Andrea, quite the beauty, looked gorgeous even in her strapless purple dress that she wore before changing into her gown. She’s so tiny that I commented that her wedding dress could fit a Barbie doll :) After getting ready and sneaking in some images, we were off to St. Theresa’s Catholic Church. Andrew and Andrea couldn’t stop smiling and looking at each other, it was so sweet. After the ceremony, we headed down to State St. and the riverfront for some casual and fun images of the bride and groom and wedding party. Then back to the Sheraton for food, drinks, dancing and fun! One of the highlights of the evening was “the Flambe guy”. I have never seen quite a show like that, it made for some interesting images and yummy dessert!  Mr. B kept the party going and provided wonderful lighting. Congrats Andrea & Andrew, Enjoy your sneak peeks and have a wonderful time in Hawaii !

Flowers: Old Towne Florists/New Cumberland

Bakery: Dingledein

Since Andrea’s a teacher, I had to incorporate the bookshelf and the wedding books and bibles were the perfect backdrop.

Simply Gorgeous!!!

Lovely Ladies

One of my favorite Candid shots in church….

Hands Down, my all time favorite groom/groomsmen shot! Love, love, love that the copper guy is wearing a similar suit:)

Andrew got excited about this shot…that is all I’m gonna say…

Yes, I know I use these doors a lot but I can’t help it, they’re AWESOME. Both the doors and the couple!

The Flambe’ Guy…WOW! Not only was it quite the show, the flambe’ was delish.
